Thoughts for the New Year!
1. Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.
2. Don’t knock the weather; nine-tenths of the people couldn’t start a conversation if it didn’t change once in awhile.
3. Don’t treat God like a lawyer….only calling upon Him when you’re in trouble.
4. A gossiper is like an old shoe in which the tongue never stays in place.
5. The right temperature at home is maintained by warm hearts, not hot heads.
6. Nothing is often a good thing to say.
7. Let me not pray to be sheltered from dangers, but to be fearless in facing them.
8. Conscience is that little voice that tells us Someone may be watching.
9. Middle age is when the products you bought with a lifetime guarantee begin to wear out.

These are some great thoughts. I really like the one that says Nothing is often a good thing to say. I need to practice it more.
